The Development Advisory Committee is excited to welcome three new members, Jill Britton, David Preston, and Brian Sickora, who will join the 11 members already serving. Along with Betsy Gerdeman, Senior Vice President of Development Services, the annual Development Advisory Committee (DAC) election process was led by 2017 DAC Chair, Rob Hilbert, Iowa Public Television Foundation, and Co-Chair, Jerry Liwanag, South Florida PBS. DAC members play an important role as advisors to Development Services on overall strategy, providing guidance on training, services and resources that support public media’s financial sustainability. DAC leadership sought to bring on new members who have a strong major giving or digital fundraising background. The full committee will meet at PBS next month for its annual planning meeting.
